Our Judge
Ms. Joyce Siddall of Englewood, Colorado, is a longtime Australian Shepherd breeder, owner, handler, and judge. A graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Equine Science, Joyce began her career as a Reproduction Specialist, breeding and showing Quarter Horses and Paints before turning her focus to Australian Shepherds.
In the early 1990s, she founded Catalina Australian Shepherds, producing multiple Best in Show winners and numerous dogs excelling in conformation, agility, rally, and obedience.
Joyce is actively involved in the dog sport community. She currently serves as President of the Front Range Australian Shepherd Association (an AKC-licensed club) and Health Chair of the Arapahoe Kennel Club. A former Secretary of the United States Australian Shepherd Association (USASA), she now sits on its Board of Directors and acts as USASA Member Club Chair, assisting clubs with specialty show applications.
Licensed to judge Miniature American Shepherds since 2017, Joyce had the honour of judging the 2025 MASCUSA National Specialty in St. Louis. She is also a Senior Breeder Judge with the Australian Shepherd Club of America and is approved to judge 48 AKC breeds, including 15 in the Herding Group and the entire Working Group.
Miniature American Shepherd Club of Victoria is deeply grateful for her contribution to Australia's first Miniature American Shepherd specialty show.
